The Sea Horse at Hopewell Theatre
The Sea Horse was Rosalyn’s set design and directorial debut. Inspiration for the seaside family-owned tavern was drawn on memories of all the little hole in the wall greasy spoon restaurants and bars frequented only by the locals who look past the rough edges and dingy lighting to find a second home. A place littered with family photos and beloved mementos, patched and decorated by hand with second-hand treasures galore. The only regret was taking photos documenting the set before the floor had been cleaned of all the tape and given its final coat of paint.
