Exit, Pursued by a Bear at Hopewell Theatre

The Exit, Pursued by a Bear set was designed to appear like a masculine cabin or hunting lodge with small homey touches to show Nan’s influence. Kitchen portion upstage and slightly raised for sight lines. Use of a mounted TV to display stage directions and to broadcast the pre-recorded news interview. Lighting and the furniture placement helped define and transport the audience in the flashback sequences.
